動物接收部助理 Animal Receiving Assistant

About The Position The position will be responsible for handling daily operations and duties in the animal receiving unit and support SPCA foster programme. Roles & Responsibilities • Answer enquiries in a polite and efficient manner for providing assistance and advice to the public on all manner of issues including lost pets, surrendering of animals, etc. • Provide medical treatments, animal examination for pending animals with rostered veterinarian following protocols. • Screen and handle all the surrender application and provide relevant alternative advice to owners if needed. • Update animal records, contact with various organisations or public and arrange transferring animals internally and externally. • Cooperate with all other teams and departments for providing best care to animals. • Participate trainings or continuing education opportunities to stay updated on best practices in animal care. • Assist with training of staff and volunteers if required.
