Contract Public Relations Manager 合約公共關係經理

We are looking for a Public Relations Manager to plan and deliver public relations and promotional activities, with the aim of strengthening the organisation’s public image and increasing awareness of its work and services. The successful candidate may be assigned to provide public relations and communications services to government departments, public bodies, or other organisations as determined by the Employer from time to time. Job Duties: (a) plan, implement and manage public relations and promotional activities to enhance the organization’s image and increase public awareness of the organization’s work and services; (b) lead Public Relations teams and collaborate with consultants and vendors to deliver the tasks related to (a); (c) produce promotional materials, such as leaflets, videos, and animations; to publicise organization information on websites and social media platforms; and to propose and organise other promotional activities; (d) collaborate with various stakeholders for providing event management, promotion campaigns and corporate communication services; (e) organise media events, including feature interviews, press briefings, media site visits, etc.; (f) identify various promotional ideas and channels to publicise the organisation’s work; (g) assist in content planning, drafting and editing promotional materials such as eNews, webpages and other social media platforms; (h) analyse the effectiveness of the publication initiatives; (i) analyse social networks and formation of communities of practices; and (j) carry out any other public relations duties as directed by senior officers. (Note: Contract Public Relations Manager may be required to work irregular hours and outdoors.) Entry Requirements: Candidates should have: (a) a bachelor's degree from a university in Hong Kong, or equivalent, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, Journalism or other related disciplines (Note 1); (b) met the language proficiency requirements (Note 2); (c) at least 7 years' post-degree working experience in corporate communications, publications, public relations, media management or event management in sizeable corporations, multi-national companies, public relations agencies or government departments; (d) good experience in working with external agencies for event management as well as public relation and marketing support; (e) good experience in content management and drafting of newsletters and corporate stories; (f) experience in implementing digital media and online content management system will be an advantage; (g) proficient in software applications including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe production software like Photoshop and Illustrator. Knowledge and experience in graphic design, photo and video editing will be an advantage; (h) good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills; (i) good English and Chinese writing skills and fluency in spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage; and (j) working experience in the government is preferred. Salary & Terms: Salary depends on relevant post-qualification experience. One-year contract, renewable subject to service need and performance. We offer a competitive remuneration package.
