Senior Engineer or Engineer (Civil)

Responsibilities - Undertake a wide range of design tasks and technical support for civil and structural facilities in the operating railway - Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on design and statutory submissions matters, project documentation and related detail designs - Prepare design drawings, specifications, design calculations, cost estimates and statutory submissions as well as carry out design check / verification for project works of the operating railway Requirements - Degree in Civil Engineering / Building Services or a related discipline - A minimum of 5 years’ relevant design experience, of which 1 year should be at supervisory level - Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferred - Solid design or maintenance experience in railway systems and sound knowledge of CAD drafting are advantages - Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
