Assistant Warehouse Manager – Simplified Job Responsibilities Report to: Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager | Location: Hong Kong Position Summary Support the Warehouse Manager to oversee end‑to‑end warehouse operations. Lead supervisory teams, deliver KPI & SLA targets, manage manpower & costs, and ensure safe, compliant and efficient warehouse performance. Key Responsibilities • Manage daily inbound, outbound, inventory, value‑added services and returns for assigned customers. Plan manpower, equipment and space based on business demand; mitigate service risks. Support new‑customer onboarding and peak‑season arrangements. • Serve as main operational contact for customers. Drive KPI / SLA delivery, analyse operational data, resolve root causes and implement improvement actions. Prepare operation reports for management. • Control labour, agency staff, overtime and equipment usage within budget. Identify cost‑saving opportunities and optimise warehouse layout & space utilisation. • Lead warehouse supervisors and front‑line teams. Set performance goals, provide coaching, build staff development plans and deliver induction & safety training. • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer SOPs and local regulations. Conduct safety inspections & incident reviews. Promote Lean, 5S, digitalisation and process standardisation. KPIs SLA fulfilment, inventory & order accuracy, on‑time dispatch, labour productivity & cost control, safety & audit results, customer complaints resolution, continuous‑improvement project delivery. Requirements • Degree / Higher Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or related disciplines • Minimum 5‑year warehouse / logistics experience including 2‑year supervisory‑management experience; 3PL multi‑customer warehouse background preferred • Solid knowledge of WMS, inventory control, manpower planning and KPI management • Strong analytical skills, proficient in MS Excel and operational reporting • Competent in leadership, customer handling and commercial decision‑making • Fluent in English and Chinese; Mandarin preferred • Able to handle multi‑tasks and support shift & peak‑period operations • Lean Six Sigma, project management or safety‑related qualifications are pluses Core Competencies Operational leadership, stakeholder & customer management, cost awareness, data‑driven decision‑making, people development, continuous improvement & change management
