Senior Officer (Clinical Psychology)

Appointment for 12 months with possibility of extension. Ref. T/170/26 Duties: Provide intensive mental and emotional support, grief and trauma informed practice for families and people who are affected by the fire in Tai Po; deliver individual and group-based support services to students, parents and school personnels of primary and secondary schools in Tai Po; provide train-the-trainers programmes for school and helping professionals; conduct territory-wide workshops and seminars on people's mental and emotional wellness, and post/traumatic stress management; and perform any other duties as assigned. Requirements A Master's degree with at least 5 years' post-qualification working experience in Clinical Psychology from a Hong Kong University, or equivalent; rich professional knowledge in practicing Grief and Bereavement Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Positive Psychology or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; preference will be given to candidates who are members of the Register of Clinical Psychologists accredited by the Department of Health, and/or the Division of Clinical Psychology, Hong Kong Psychological Society. The appointees should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); ability to work in a multi-tasking environment, self-motivation with a strong sense of responsibility; and ability to work independently and effectively in a team are required. The appointees will work at the Hubs in Tai Po and be required to work irregular hours (including weekday evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) on a need basis.
