Caseworker (Community Development - Outreach Service) (1-Year Contract)

Job Description : Provide outreach services to homeless individuals over 50 in different districts using the "Holistic Therapeutic Community model", including basic health care, case counselling, crisis intervention, group activities, etc.; Connect those in need to ImpactHK's support services for the homeless, or refer them to other appropriate community resources based on their needs; Serve at community center for the homeless, and assist with center affairs; Handle other assigned duties by supervisor. Requirements : Possess a recognized diploma in Social Work or a bachelor's degree in a related discipline; Proactive and energetic personality with an engaging communication style to initiate contact with clients; Willing to conduct outreach work during evenings; Required to take shifts at the community center on weekends and public holidays; Committed to serving marginalized communities, with a basic understanding of and interest in homelessness-related issues; Proficient in computer operations, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English; A team player who is adaptable, eager to learn, and open to new challenges; Graduating students are welcome to apply.
