Your Mission - Lead the China Accounting Team to ensure timely and accurate work completion. - Prepare monthly financial statements and forecasting reports in compliance with China accounting standards - Manage annual statutory audit and liaise with auditors - Ensure accurate and timely tax filings, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value-Added Tax (VAT), and Individual Income Tax (IIT) - Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations and policies, National Bureau of Statistics, customs requirements - Liaise with Chinese statutory bodies, including the State Taxation Administration and other government entities - Oversee cash flow management in China, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments, receipts, and general ledger entries. - Collaborate with colleagues in the Hong Kong accounting department to achieve overall departmental goals and objectives. - Assist in the development and enhancement of the internal control system. Who You Are - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline. - Over 3 years of relevant experience in China accounting. - Proficient in spoken and written Chinese, English, and Mandarin. - Strong command of MS Office in both English and Chinese. - Knowledgeable in accounting and taxation practices and planning in both Hong Kong and China, as well as internal control development, enhancement, and China customs operations. - Proven supervisory and leadership abilities.
